Summer Fun

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Todd. Things are definitely quiet around here now!

Day at the beach!

Day at the zoo.

Checking out the fish at the zoo.
We played a lot of tennis!

Playing in the pool.

Trying on Grandpa's shoes.

Climbing the stairs at Grandma Arnolds.

Cabrillo National Park.

Langley's Baptism

We were very thankful to be able to share Langley's baptism with both of our families. It was a special Father's Day for us. She was a very good baby, full of smiles. Grandma Deanna hosted a nice brunch afterward for us. What a beautiful day it was!!

Catching Up

Langley and Daddy at Sea World.

Langley has a black eye from falling into the rocking chair. Hard to tell here.

Emptying out the pantry in her pjs.

Practicing with a spoon and making a mess!

So often Langley decides to rub her eyes with her messy hands when she is eating.

Checking out the kitchen at baby signing class.

Looking like a tall, big girl here.

Enjoying a wagon ride with her friends.

Music Meet Up

Langley had fun playing instruments at our music meet up this week. One of the mom's took some pictures with her camera. You can tell her camera does a little better capturing the moment...mine is a slow one and rarely can I get Langley actually looking at me! :)

Really into the drums today!

Langley loved to play with Hazel's giant DOG!

Dining Out and Birthdays

This past weekend Greg and I participated in some rich, military tradition...a "Dining Out". This is a special dinner full of fun, rules, the Grog --toilet of something you don't want to drink ---, toasting, and entertainment. Usually it is a formal event, but this time they decided to wear work uniforms. I turned Greg's flight suit into a dress with the help of Deanna. Greg found a special black flight suit with a great ruffly tuxedo shirt. And he has his issued military sunglasses on...that he has never worn. It was fun!!

Parading of the BEEF!!!

OK, this is the GROG. The pink baby toilet was the non-alcoholic toilet. And I honestly think I'd rather drink from the regular toilet. The baby toilet reminds me of too many dirty diapers! Luckily I didn't have to drink from either! Yeah!

The next day was Greg's birthday. We walked down to downtown OB for some Mexican food at Ortega's with Deanna and Norm. Then Greg and I got to go on another date night for a nice dinner that night! We were very lucky to have babysitters for the weekend!!

Now I have to back up a little bit because the weekend prior we went to Irvine to celebrate Deanna's birthday. We had a nice day exploring downtown Orange. We went to an old church for lunch and looked at the old houses in the neighborhood.

I thought this was a sweet picture of Langley with Grandma. I didn't ask Deanna if I could post it, so hopefully she likes it too! :) I definitely think Langley has some resemblance to Grandma Arnold!
