Langley's Two Years Old! Party time!

This year Langley's birthday definitely caught up to us fast!  We got all the boxes unpacked here in Jacksonville just in time to enjoy a nice birthday weekend to celebrate our sweet big girl!  Langley was very excited to have Grandma and Grandpa in town for the weekend and were lucky to have a few families to join us for party day.  It is so nice being in the military and instantly having friends in a new city!  We all tend to follow each other around the country, and it has definitely made for a warm welcome here!

We did everything kitty cats!  Langley loves to meow, so she got her fill!

I brought Langley downstairs after her nap and when she saw all the decorations and stuff and the first thing she said was, "OH GOSH!".  This was a new phrase for us!  Now she is saying it all the time...oh dear!

Here is my birthday girl!  Grandma surprised us with this sweet kitty cat dress she made.

The kids had a blast with their ears on!

Langley's birthday gift from G&G was the perfect spot for coloring kitty cats and eating cookies!  This table is going to get a lot of use the next few years!

Yum!

Diggin for mice and bugs in the bird seed kept them busy!

Sharing dinner with our buddy Brady!

This was our attempt of a group shot!  It is pretty hilarious!  Poor little Charlie and Liam!

Langley with Grandma and Grandpa...she loves for them to take care of her!  Langley always says, "Grandma do it!".

All partied out...

Bye, Bye friends!  Thanks for celebrating with us!

On to the presents...yes, this is the never-ending post!   : D
She loves her new grocery cart from Uncle Todd!

Her "achoo" baby is her favorite!  Especially since she just got over a cold herself, so now it is her turn to play mommy!   Making rain with her rainmaker Aunt Cindy sent.

It was like Christmas around here.  One very, very lucky little girl!
Thanks to everyone for making her special day so fun!

Farewell San Diego!!

We never really officially said "good-bye" to San Diego on the blog!  All the pics of the goodtimes we had with our awesome friends in our final days, have been on our computer packed up in a box the past few months....and they have finally been opened! yay!  So I guess now that we are missing everyone lots, this makes a good time to post!   :D
A good-bye playdate at our house...hard to imagine that it was so chilly that day!  (now that we are roasting here!)  Dancing on the jacuzzi...
A walk in the garden with Levi always warms my heart.
I really loved Jacyln's tu-tu!

We will miss our mommy group a ton!  Love the chaos of our playdates!

Off to the next party...farewell get together with our bible study friends.
Griffen gave me one final squeeze!

Just when some sweet baby girls arrived in our group, I have to go!

Girls night out!  An awesome group of moms all getting a break from their munchkins!

We had an awesome beach camping weekend up in San Onofre.  We always loved our yearly camping trips to our favorite spot!
I was the only lady there.  I got a lot of playing time in with my favorite boys though!

Pajama time with Joe was awesome!

Enjoying the sunset and fire...

My first Smore was fabulous!

My final marathon through our house in OB...

We look forward to getting back for a visit soon!!

Sesame Street Live!

We got really lucky to catch Sesame Street Live at the gym on base last night!  I was almost in tears seeing how excited all these little munchkins were to see their favorite characters.  They had so much joy!

Here is Langley as we waited.  She really wanted her bunny to be able to see Elmo too.  And she was having a lot of fun with the Elmo toy she got at the door!

At first Langley was glued to my lap!  But she slowly warmed up to the show with some clapping and dancing!

Taking a peek!  Langley always let me know when Elmo left the stage.
Langley was crying big tears at the end, because she wasn't able to hug Zoe.  Lots of kids weren't very happy when the show ended. Getting a picture with her cheered us up!

Roadtrip to Grandma and Grandpa's!

Mommy and I escaped the officer quarters for a vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's!  They kept me very busy, and it was great having so much space to run around!  We played a lot of chase and tag, and spent a lot of time out on the porch talking with the birds and the squirrels.

One day we went into downtown for a little shopping.  I love to see all the colorful horses on the streets!

I carried my paper around the stores.  It is pretty easy to read and shop!

Grandpa was trying to introduce me to these crazy old ladies, but I was NOT up for it!  I mean look at them?

Grandma had a get-a-way with her friends for the weekend, so I had a lot of bonding time with Grandpa!  We went and hung out with the bluegrass pickers one morning!  Daddy would have loved this, because he always has me dancing.

I pretty much had my own private show!  Mommy thought she was back in her Nashville stomping ground.

You gotta love a good 'ole boy with a harmonica!

Grandpa and I worked really hard to wash mommy's car!  What a treat for her!

Then off to the park with Grandpa!   We explored the ponds!  Whew, it was a hot one out there!

I told mommy all about the turtles when I got home!

And the fish!

Thanks for the fun week!  I'm all ready to see you again soon!
