Langley had so much fun at Kid Ventures play center. She loved playing with the babies, pushing the grocery carts, and dancing in the disco ball room. My camera battery died, so I was bummed!

Langley preferred pushing rather than riding. Always wants to do what mommy does!

Sunday with Langley

This week Greg has been gone for a two week work up on the ship. We are half way through! Guess this is to get him and us ready for his 7 months away coming up soon! I'm already making a list of all the "things" I need to figure out before he leaves. Today I had to plunge the toilet, take apart one of Langleys toys....and leaking watermelon out of the garbage. This will definitely be a season of taking on new roles! :) Today Langley and I went to church this morning and then to a friends birthday pool party this afternoon. I got a few pics to send to daddy on the ship, so I thought I would post them here too.

Langley loves this church nursery. They have great toys! She only cried for 3 minutes the lady told me. Of course she had her blankie! The funniest thing is when I came to pick her up at the end. She was so upset to leave the boppy nursing pillow. She was crying because she wanted to take it with her! Of all the toys in there, she wanted to take out that pillow? I think I might need to pull mine back out of the closet! :)

Blankies and Diapers

I think I have shared before about how fond Langley is of her little taggy blankie. This is a walmart special, and is the only one that passes the test. :) She loves to hold it when she is tired and could lay in her crib for a long time in the morning holding it and sucking her fingers if I let her! Recently in the mornings she also wants to take her big blankie with her too. So she is trying to walk around the house with these dragging at her feet! Usually ends up tripping over them!

Now we are on to Diapers! Langley loves to organize her diapers. She takes them out of the basket and arranges them all over the floor. Then she tries to put clean diapers into the diaper champ. Not sure what else she may have thrown out in there! Anything to keep her busy!!

Having Fun in San Diego!

Greg and I love to hike, so we were so thrille to be given this great hand-me-down hiking pack from our neighbors! We went on our first hiking outing to Cabrillo National Park, and Langley loved it! We had a great hike with the Arnold family!


Over the summer we have had so much fun at the concerts in the park in Point Loma. On Friday nights we gather a pinic in the wagon and walk over to hear music in the park with friends. Langley loves the wagon ride and dancing to the music!

We had a great time at the beach last weekend. I think Langley had sand stuck to every inch of her body!

We just couldn't believe that daddy had duty after being gone for two weeks! How unlucky! So we decided to join him for dinner! Langley loved walking around the wardroom and seeing daddy's bunk beds.

Langley had a great time at our friend Diego's house for a sprinkler and pool playdate.

Road Trip and fun times with Grandma and Grandpa!!

After hitting Chautauqua Lake, Langley, Grandma, and I drove from NY to SC. The long days traveling went very well, because Grandma always did a good job enertaining Langley in her car seat.

We stopped in Cleveland to visit with Aunt Deanna and family. And we got to meet baby James!

Our next stop was North Carolina to see Great Grandma "GiGi" and Great Grandpa. After a 10 hour drive we were worn out!! We had a nice dinner and got our PJ's on. Langley was very good at giving kisses to GiGi and Great Grandpa. She loved when GiGi sang her "Little Cabin in the Woods".

The next day we finally made it to Aiken! Grandpa was very excited to see Langley!
