Two Year Old Portrait Craze!

Cheesy, obnoxious, silly...whatever you want to call these type of pictures...this mom has to go there once in awhile!  I hadn't done it since 9 months, so when Langley turned 2,  I thought it was time again.  I love that I can pull these out one day and look at Langley just as she was.

Langley loved all the little poses and we got a few smiles!   This was a favorite of mine, because Langley loves to sit "criss cross applesauce".

i love these little hands and feet!
You can't do a photo session without a prop!?  :)
I am usually the picture taker, so I decided to hop in a few for some mommy-daughter shots.

I blamed it on the pregnancy...I think I have enough photos for all of you and your family members.  :)   How do people narrow these things down??

Little helper and future cook!

Langley's new favorite spot is sitting on the counter watching me cook.
Tonight she helped me with the salads.

Anything to get dinner on the table!  Not sure if this helped make that salad more exciting to eat though?!

Irvine Wedding Weekend

Lots of sitting (like a lady) in the airports...
And very little sleeping on the planes...
A rehearsal dinner pic with all of Gregory's cousins.  It was great to be able to see all the family from Kansas.
We loved exploring the lagoon in Grandma's neighborhood.
What a brilliant idea to have a pool with sand!
Langley loves to wash feet.

Langley practicing her kickers.
She is getting so brave, going all the way in until her lips barely touch the water!
Wedding day!
With mother of the bride Aunt Donna and sister/grandma Deanna!
Cousin Brian waiting for kisses...a little more generous with Daddy.
So excited to get to meet Henry!
So much fun with Aunt Cindy!
Langley was quite the dancer into the wee hours!
I can't resist posting Gregory's awesome moves.  :)
Family photo with the bride and groom.  Congrats to Carrie and Dave!  Langley thought Carrie was a "princess" all night.  She was in awe of her.
Back in the pool!
Had an artsy morning at the Sawdust festival in Laguna Beach.
Music and waterfall were so nice.
We were so thankful to have a reason to go back for a visit!  It was great seeing everyone!  Thanks for an awesome visit!

Baby's First Photo

We are very excited that this Christmas we will be having a new addition in our family!  We have been so busy with everything, sometimes it is hard to believe that we will be having another baby in the house!  And surprised at how quickly God had this in the plan after Greg getting home.  We feel very lucky!  The pregnancy is going great so far.  It was a bit crazy feeling nausea and juggling a move and a toddler, but we all survived!  And now I am feeling much better!  (just sleepy!)  I have had lots of  cravings already and mostly so many foods just don't sound good at all.  Popsicles have taken over my love for ice cream.  And I love anything with pasta and cheese.  Very nutritious diet!  :)  Langley is starting to understand that there is a baby in my tummy.  I can't believe how quickly my tummy popped out with the second pregnancy!  She has accompanied me to a couple of my appointments and has gotten to see the baby moving.  She talks about the baby "kicking" and "twirling" on occasion.

So I figured it was time for the baby to make his or her blog debut.  Here is our little ones first photo!

Surfer Girl!

I am finally ready to catch some waves with Daddy!

Daddy loves my new "rash guard" and "board shorts".  They are kind of like his, but he isn't lucky enough to have ice cream cones on his!   :)

Too bad the waves are a little choppy today.

Celebrating the 4th St. Augustine style!

We decided to take a last minute trip to St. Augustine to celebrate the 4th.  We thought there wasn't a better place to celebrate, but the oldest city in America!

Langley had fun sitting on all the cannons in the historic parks.
We cooled off with some popsicles!
We walked through a museum of old homes and gardens.  Definitely my kind of museum!
(and Greg and Langley ended up having a good time too!)
I wish I had a professional photographer with me to take advantage of all the great photo ops!  Where is Ashley Perry when you need her?  :)  It did motivate me to play around with the photo editing on our new mac!

Greg and Langley making CRAZY smiles...

Langley was so excited about the dog swimming in the fountain.
I think we were lucky she didn't jump in with him!

Thank goodness for a 30 minute snoozer...it's gonna be a late night!
Langley pretending to be a firework...

Langley sat in awe!
The fireworks were huge!  We had an awesome day!
