I really do love everything about the Fall! I could eat everything pumpkin. I love the weather getting cooler. I love fall colors, even if it is just in my child's art work or the decorations in my house(leaves don't change so much here!). I can finally eat soup without sweating. Time for a little football. And the happiness Halloween brings to L and M is so much fun. Here's what we've been up to this Fall!
We checked out the Fall Festival on the base. Just a short walk from our house. Perfect activity for a little girl recovering from a cold. We just had to get out of the house after being cooped up inside for a few days.
This bunny hat made out of paper plates cheered her up!
Let's just see how many times we can get into our Halloween costumes before the big day!? :)
Cinderella's first outing was to trick or treat at Daddy's squadron HSL-48. Daddy was out of town, but we decided to check it out anyhow! Definitely SPOOKY(more so than I knew)! Oh my, Langley was very cautious walking past the rooms that were scary and then hit bottom when we encountered an unknown person with a ghost mask on. She was trembling and begging me to go home! What an experience for us all. Mason didn't even flinch. :)
So we had enough of scary parties! We had an unscary, fun time with friends at our stroller group party. All of Cinderella's favorite princess friends were there and even Strawberry Shortcake!
Mason debuted his pumpkin costume! And had his eye on his favorite girl K.
I just loved how chill he was plopped in the middle of all the chaos! That bottom lip did start to turn after a couple bumps from his pumpkin friend next to him.
We went to an assisted living home one afternoon and visited with the elderly. The kids brought so much joy to everyone there! I just loved seeing them interact.
My most fav is the pumpkin patch! I love pumpkins! (And warning: took WAY too many pictures there.) The stomach flu had gone through me, Langley, and Greg (and thankfully not Mason) just before Halloween. So we were finally all better, just the day before Halloween to pick our pumpkin out!
Langley kept saying, "mom, can i run through the pumpkins?" Ummmm, yes! :)
Mason, the king of the pumpkins! :)
This was just what the doctor ordered for all of us!
Mommy and Daddy went to a Vampires Ball Halloween party. Woot, woot! Yes, Greg has seaweed hair! I can't say vampires is my costume of choice. I am just hoping this wasn't too tramatic for Mason and Langley! Langley actually told me I looked like a princess. :)
Halloween Day is HERE! Langley had school that day, and they got to wear their unscary costumes for a fall festival parade!
Poor Cinderella had her gown caught in her tights for most of the parade! LOL :)
Ms. Denise and Ms. Karen lining up the troops.
Langley and her best-est pirate girl stuck close together.
The moment has come for trick-or-treating, and Cinderella and her pumpkin chariot are raring to go!
Our new neighborhood on base housing was so nice for trick or treating. Everyone was so festive, and their were lots of kids with lots of freedom that night! So fun!
Mason knew that the candy was something special. He cut out early with his momma to help hand out!
Nothing like a little 'Nerd' shaking to end the night! :)
And it wouldn't be FALL without a little Tennessee VOL!
Hope everyone is having a great Fall!
