Birthday Bash Weekend

I was so lucky to have a fun weekend filled with Birthday parties!  I got to eat lots of cake!  I like to take my time savoring every bite, long after everyone else is finished!  :D   Here I am finishing up, while birthday boy Seamus is hiding out.

The next day we got to go to Joe's train birthday party!  I loved digging in this bucket of bird seed!  And the coloring stations and train stamps kept me enertained for hours.  I was so busy that even mom and dad could catch up with their friends!  Yay!

We are sad to be moving soon, cause lots of our friends are turning TWO these days!!  We sure do grow fast!

Day at Sea World!

We had an awesome time visiting Shamu last week!  Before we left that morning to get motivated Langley kept saying, "sharks eat you" and "whales eat you".  :D  She continues to crack us up as she learns more words and puts thoughts together!

             We went through the shark tunnel and got to touch the sting rays!

Langley and her friend Keira couldn't get enough of holding hands! They walked together in between seeing all the animals.

Thank goodness for tall daddies for peaks at the whales!

Sonoma Get Away

Huge thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Arnold for taking care of Langley, so that Gregory and I could enjoy some R&R!  We had the perfect getaway up to Sonoma.  Oh my, it rained the entire time we were there!  But we didn't let it stop us from seeing all the great towns and wineries.   And the rain made for a nice excuse to be lazy...especially after all the great food and wine!

I took a picture of this beautiful pink Dogwood tree.  This is one of my favorite trees that makes me think of Knoxville, TN where I grew up.  We don't see them much around here.

This was our only photo of the both of us!  Looks pretty cheesy to me, but at least we can remember we were there!   :)

Welcome Home Daddy!!

 I ws so excited to pick up Daddy from the airport after 7 months of deployment!  He was on a "boat".  We woke up very early to meet him!  And after going to the wrong terminal, we finally made it.  : D

I went to Daddy without any tears!  I remembered him just the same.

All dayI wanted Daddy to be right there!  We read stories...

We had a great day, and Mommy and I are so glad he is back home with us!!

Easter Sunday

We had a great weekend visiting with Greg's family over Easter weekend.   It was very relaxed full of fun activities...a nice hike on Saturday, egg dying, easter service, easter basket, egg hunting, and a yummy ham dinner!  Langley had so much fun playing with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Cindy!   And we were all anticipating Greg's return this week!
