She loved soccer this year. She had a great team and got to know some other girls that go to her school. I'm not sure if it was something about her dad assistant coaching, but she definitely had a confidence this year that she hasn't had in the past. So it was fun to see her be aggressive!! Which hasn't come so easy! :)
Mason is ready for him some soccer too!
Go get 'em Langley!
She has a bit of a competitive spirit. She is always counting the goals throughout the game...has to keep her eye on the score! :)
What a great season! She had an amazing head coach this year that went above and beyond for these girls...we hope she may be back next year too!
This past winter we decided to give basketball a try again. Thought it might be good to get out of the house on those cold winter weekends! She had played with some friends in Jacksonville, so we thought we'd keep it up here. There weren't so many girls playing in this league, but Langley hung in there! It took awhile to get the hang of the dribbling. :) Greg and I were amazed at how good these 5 year olds were! Holy cow, they had the lay ups down!
Good D Langley!
This summer she had her first tennis clinic. Loved it! She wants to keep up the tennis, so I need to get out there with her this summer before the cold hits. I hear there is someone on base that teaches lessons on the indoor courts, so we may look into that this winter. She needs to keep up with her G&G!
One of her most favorite activities this year was her Daisy troop. I loved that it was so low key and they only met a couple times a month with a few extra activities here and there. She had her friend Emma from her class with her too, so that made it very fun for her...all about the friends! :)
This was World Thinking Day. They spent lots of time getting their exhibit ready and all the troops represented a different country and they got to go visit everyones booth. It was cute!
She loved getting her passport stamped.
And a Henna tatoo!
Having fun at the Chargers baseball game! This was a special girl scout event where they got to watch the movie Frozen on the field afterward and spend the night on the field too. Unfortunately(or maybe it was a good thing?! I was with her, pregnant, and didn't realize when signing up how i might be feeling at that moment!) the sleepover part had to get cancelled due to the rain, but the girls loved watching the movie and running in the grass. Great memory for her!
Graduation day! Walking the path...can't remember what they call it. ;) I felt like a bad mom because I forgot to bring her Daisy vest! She was a bit frazzled about it...but she is still smiling! They had just finished up a day on the horse farm.
Gymnastics! Ok, so this seemed to be a bit of a chore by the end of the year...so we aren't sure if we will stick with it or possible move her to a different place. I think the main problem for her was that it took away from her hour playtime after school with her friends for one day! Hmm...not sure if that's good reason!
They had a end of the year show with a Pirate's Life. I forgot my good camera, so these pics are terrible phone pics!
Funny one...
Oh my she doesn't look very happy here... :)
ok, we get a smile!! Way to go gymnast Langley!!
What a busy girlie! Mason is anxious to start something and baby #3 on the way...I may need some tips!?!
