The Wild Wild West.

We were so busy while in California!  Greg put together a calendar while we were there with an order of events!  :)  Not really his personality to do this!  I am the 'scheduler' in this house, so i loved it!  Kept us moving with lots of good-times.
The kids loved the coloring playhouse that their Aunt Cindy got them for Christmas!  Kept them very busy with markers all week.  And Mason loved playing peek-a-boo out the window.
Thanks Cindy!
We spent a morning at Crystal Cove for a walk on the beach.  This is one of my favorite spots in Orange County.  The ocean is so pretty against the rocks.  And you gotta love a Christmas tree in the sand!
We checked out the Park of Orange.  Being from TN, I immediately liked it when I saw the orange and white checkered sidewalk!

The entire family on the Carousel!  Mason's first ride.
Cleanest Chicken coupe I have seen.  These chickens were living in luxury!
 Herb garden inspiration...
We had lots of fun at a children's museum.  So much to do and see; it was like Disney World.  Langley went to her first 3D movie.   They had a very modern, 'green' grocery store for kids, and Mason loved the dinosaur playground.  Both of them were asleep before we even left the parking lot!
We always love lots of walks and playground time while visiting Grandmas' and Grandpas'!  And love feeding the ducks by the lake.
Mason is so lucky to have a birthday around Christmas, because he gets lots of parties between family and friends!  Cindy made a special sign for him on his birthday.  And we all enjoyed cupcakes and opening gifts.  I am personally glad his birthday dragged on and on, because I don't think I am ready to lose my one year old!
 Sugar coma.
Many thanks to Deanna, Norm, and Cindy for a super duper stay!!!  We loved it!  And are missing you again!  :)

Christmas Memories with the Arnold's 2011

Our family was very excited to get back to California for Christmas this year!  We miss having the Arnold's so close to us.  Langley was SO ready to get to Grandma and Grandpa's house!  The countdown was on...and it finally came...and after a long, long flight with 2 squirmy children we made it!  :)  We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with a cozy dinner and then to Christmas Eve service at their church.  And had a very fun time when we got home with reading the Christmas story and the Night Before Christmas, feeding the reindeer, and leaving milk and cookies for St. Nick!  There was lots of excitement Christmas morning!  And Christmas evening we spent with the Axlines, Greg's aunt, uncle, and cousins!  It was so good to see everyone.
The year of the puppy dog!
And BOY toys!
Greg has been asking his mom to knit him an 'ugly' Christmas sweater for years.  She surprised him this year.  He was thrilled!  It was definitely a highlight of Christmas morning!  How is it going Deanna??   :) She is an amazing knitter!
 Carrie and Jill with Langley.
Mason loved all the attention from Grandma Deanna!
