Christmas Excitement 2014

This Christmas was a busy one!  Looking back its hard for me to remember how everything fell into place with so much going on!  We had fun doing the Christmas thing with new baby on board!
 Sugar cookies are my fave...
we made our pancakes into snowmen one morning...i can handle this one!
a chilly night at the tree lighting in the town center!  baby dean and daddy stayed warm at home.  A treat for mom did get out of the house for some fresh air. :)
We loved taking pictures in front of the tree with our new baby brother...ha ha...sometimes! ;) (oh---my camera was on 'manual' setting for a whole week and i didn't know it! all my pics were blurry!)
First grins shining through...
Papillion Tree Lighting...visiting our favorite reindeer.
 Decorating our tree PJ night
I really think mason had these same PJs on last christmas and they were too small then!  Lol.  One day he will harass me for this.
we are lucky all the ornaments aren't broken
a little lop-sided with the ribbon maybe, but we will take it. :)
We love going to see the beautiful, REAL, tree decorated at the Durham museum in downtown Omaha...next best thing to NYC!  We got to get a quick visit with Santa too!
Langley's school program was at Christmas this year.  She was very serious on stage. ;)
now we got a smile!
We were so excited for the Arnold clan to come visit us and meet baby Dean!!
Meeting Grandma Deanna
sweet ones...
The kids continued their tradition of doing gingerbread houses with Aunt Cindy!
a fun lunch downtown to eat pizza in old market
playing dress up...
The guys held down the fort at home while Grandma and I got to help with Langley's class party.  We were in charge of the snack.  We made santa claus ice cream sundaes and elf hats made of fruit. :)
We were glad Grandma decided to come because we definitely needed her help on the parent front.  One of the moms couldn't make it, so she ran the games for the party.  Her teacher skills were coming out!  Way to go Deanna!
The kids got to wear their PJ's to school that day too.
The kids sang on stage at church one Sunday morning.
We love going to the Children's Museum for their Christmas special.  We had to sneak our way in to see Santa because it was so crowded, but we made it!
Even little Dean made it into Santa's arms.
just chatting with Santa
So glad to get away with Langley for our mommy daughter christmas date.  We went to see the Rockettes this year!
