Giving thanks in the warm California sun!

This year we spent Thanksgiving in California!  We all survived the long flights with a very large lap "baby". :)   And loved being back in southern California and catching up with Greg's family!
Here the kids are waiting by the oven for the turkey.
 And then they started this...
They love having breakfast with Grandpa.
We had so much fun at the pretend city.  Such a great place.
My favorite part was the garden with lots of dirt, shovels, and veggies to plant.  They had quite the harvest.  :)
We enjoyed spending some time with Greg's aunt and uncle--Axline Family one night.  We didn't get a group picture, but got a few with the kids playing with their cousin-in-law Jill.  They loved playing with her...and probably wore her out!!
We even made it down to San Diego for the day to visit some good friends.  Mason and Addie are birth buddies!  They were born a few hours apart.  We love the Deans!!
We also visited with our good friends The Egans that evening over dinner at their house.  Didn't get any pictures!

The kids adore their Aunt Cindy!  She gives them so much attention.  We are lucky to have her.
These are from the day at the Irvine Park---what can get better than a train, pony rides, and a zoo all at the same place?!
 Mason's first pony ride!
And we were so very sad that Greg's mom "Grandma Deanna" found out she had Shingles the day after we got there.  :(  She was home resting and recovering the week we were there.  We missed having her apart of all the fun, but are so glad that she is doing well now!!  I know it was hardest on her, because she was so excited to have us there and put in so much work getting ready for us!  We will have to make up for it soon!

Pumpkins 2012

I love a crisp Fall day at the pumpkin patch!  We are lucky here in Florida if we aren't sweating.  :)   This year we timed it lucky and hit a nice day at our favorite spot that we have gone the past 2 years.  It is a little further away, but worth it for the tall trees and picnic spot...makes it feel a little bit more like Fall.
Before church that morning I snapped a couple of the babes in our favorite, dirty rocking chair.
It was so cute watching Mason do his best to pic up every size of pumpkin.
Gruffin' about this big one...maybe next year buddy.
And Langley surprised herself i think.
Love, love loved this day!

Halloween Super Hero's!

Oh gee where has the time gone!? I am behind!  :)  Our Halloween was full of fun stuff that kept us busy with friends...which keeps everyone happy!  Seemed like we wore our costumes 99 times.
The annual Stroller Strength Halloween Party....
The group pic is always a hit.
Langley with her friend ACE.
These two were too much.  Love sweet DF the "fairy".
I am not sure she was having fun?
Chapel Halloween Party on the military base...
We checked it out with our favorite neighbors.
I love this picture with the daddys.
Pumpkin Carving party in our neighborhood...
They were really into it!  I was impressed with their guts skills.

This makes me laugh out loud.....maybe this is why he is a good pilot??  :)  a drill and safety glasses?
This might be the fanciest pumpkin we will ever have.   Thanks to our neighbors supplies and tools...and of course Greg's drilling skills!
Trick or Treating with the Vipers...
All the officers spook their offices up and give out candy.  We had to be strategic to not go in the rooms that were over the top.  This is why Greg was holding Langley.  Mason was shaking hands with the monsters...all boy.
And Langley won a costume prize!
Halloween parade at school...
Trunk or Treating with our Mom's Club buddies...
I am a trunk novice...mine above needed help in comparison!
So chill with their candy.
Our Halloween creation for friends at school...stolen creativity from pinterest Ghost PB Krispies.
Super Powers ready to roll!!!
Mason had a dum-dum in his mouth the entire time.  He kept opening all his candy right when they handed it to him.  :)
These girls were moving fast!  On a mission.
They finally collapsed.
And now it is time to sort and organize by color and type...she must have two engineers as parents!?
Pic our favorites...and candy be gone!!!  It was a fun Halloween.  And believe it or not their teeth haven't rotted yet.
