Baby Mason's Dedication

We had a special weekend dedicating Mason!  The Lord has truly blessed us with this sweet, little boy!
He had such sweet smiles that day!
Mason has brought so much joy and life to our family!  So glad we have him!
Grandma and Grandpa came in town to celebrate with us!  We have gotten to see a lot of them lately, so it was really nice they made the trip again to be apart.
We had some friends over after church the next day for a brunch.
Love this happy picture with Grandpa!
We had very yummy food!  My mom always makes it taste so good!
We are so lucky to have found so many nice families at our church in Jacksonville.
And the kids always have so much fun together!
Abigail and Langley were leading a princess marching band!  Wild girls!
He was all smiles...
And finally went for a snooze!
Thanks to everyone for celebrating this special time with us!

First Timers at Disney World!

My dear children don't know how lucky they are to live only two and half hours from the happiest place in the world!  I feel like a little kid, because I was so excited for Langley to get up last Sunday morning to tell her we were headed to Disney World!  It had been our big secret for awhile.  She was jumping for joy, very excited to go to "mickey's house", and kept saying "now?  right now?" in complete disbelief.

We stayed at the military resort, Shades of Green.  An amazing military perk!  It turned out great and so convenient being in the Disney Resort area.  Langley was so happy just to see the Mickey statue when we arrived.
That afternoon we decided to just soak in the hotel (very exciting in itself!) and hang by the pool.
We decided to only do two days in the Magic Kingdom this trip.  I think it worked out really well, because much longer would have been a bit overload for their ages.  The weather could not have been more perfect this weekend!  We got lucky that the humidity was down and no rain.  And our longest wait for a ride was 25 minutes!  I was expecting way worse after talking with everyone.  A great time to go before kiddos get out of school.
DAY ONE at Disney!
 Dancing around the cinderella's castle!
We met the princesses first thing!  Langley was amazed at them and loved talking with them.
Big smiles for Cinderella!
Having a Tea Party with Daddy!
So exciting to fly in Dumbo again after all these years!
We loved "It's a Small World"!  It is our new favorite song!
I love this one!
Langley enjoyed all the Mickey yummies!
We had a short ride to the Polynesian Resort, where we would catch the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
We decided to head back to the hotel for a much needed nap.
A sweet little girl gave Langley her balloon, because she was leaving on the plane that day.  It just made Langley's day!
After our naps, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to enjoy the night light parade.
Langley couldn't get enough of waving to all her favorite characters.  She was dancing and pointing at everything that came her way, saying "look mom!".
It was so fun!  What a great day!
They had an awesome fireworks display after the parade.  Langley is still warming up to fireworks, but we convinced her to stay for a few, as she watched behind
her blankie.  Then onto the hotel...It was almost 10:30!  What a day!

DAY TWO!
We got to meet Minnie and Mickey!
Langley had the biggest, cheesiest smiles with all the characters!
We decided to ride It's a Small World again with the whole family!
Mason was the happiest he had been the whole trip!
Finally I get to see what I have been missing!
Our last big hoo-rah before heading out that day was a daytime parade.  I think the parades were Langley's favorite part, because she got to see all the characters and wave at them.
Langley was waving to Minnie with her Minnie doll, and Minnie pointed at her.  Langley was so thrilled!
Langley loved seeing Snow White.  This is her favorite princess.  That was the one ride, 'Snow Whites Scary Adventures', that Langley chickened out on!  She stood in line with Greg, but at the very end decided it wasn't for her!  She is already saying that next time she is going to be brave and ride it.  :)
We can't wait to go back now!  I think I am hooked...I loved Disney!  I definitely needed a week to recover even after just a couple days there!  LOL

Uncle Todd --slash-- Nanny!

The beginning of this month Greg had to go away for work for a couple weeks and right when I was growing weary, my brother came to help out!  I had no idea what a natural he is with these little ones!  He jumped right in to the playing, feedings, snacks, spit-up, swaddling, baths, hissy fits, etc...as I took off to run errands and insisting me to "work on relaxing".  (Which I am not very good at these days.)  This is the one pic I got to document his stay.   Thank you Todd for teaching me to relax and loving on my kids so much!  They had the best time with you!

Kite Day at the Playground

We had a fun morning at the playground with our mommy group making kites and giving them a whirl!
I didn't think to get any pictures until everyone left, and Langley finally decided she wanted to fly hers!
They were so easy to make.  Target bags with streamers and curly ribbon...I can handle that!
 Mason came along with us!
