Langley has had Sea World on her mind for a very long time now! :) Before Greg left we told her this was something we could all do together after he got home, and well, it definitely stuck for all 7 months! I really think her excitement about this helped her get through the deployment! She would tell random people in the grocery line that when her daddy gets home she is going to Sea World with him, and at night before bed she would remind me about it. :) So we knew we couldn't begin to take any family vacations before heading to Shamu!!
Feeding the dolphins. I think I was more excited about this than she was!
We spent most of our time watching the shows. We saw the Dolphins, the Shamu show, watched a 3D sea turtle movie, and went to a cat/dog tricks show. Wouldn't have picked the cat/dog one since it doesn't seem much like Sea World, but someone had recommended it--really cute and the kids loved it!
The dolphin show was the best one! Seeing the trainers swimming with them is so cool.
Sting rays
They loved Shamu! The show has definitely changed since the trainers don't swim with them anymore. It focuses more on protecting them and taking care of the waters.
Riding the train with Mason.
They both crashed!
Mason's new favorite word is Dolphin! Now he calls his Shamu a dolphin instead of a whale. No matter how many times I correct him...he is hooked on dolphin. :)
One prize for the day to remember our trip! And this was not an easy decision. :/
And a huge shout out to Sea World for letting our whole family go for FREE every year!! What a great military benefit!
