Our Langley Lu turns SIX years old!

Wow, time is sure flying and it's hard to believe we have a 6 year old!  Happy 6th birthday Langley!   She has had a great year in a new city!  She doesn't realize now that she is quite the traveler with all the cities she has lived in and traveled between.  She brings us lots of smiles and we love to see her personality grow and change.  She loves being on the go and being out and about.  "What are we doing today mom?"  is often how she starts her day.  She loves being outside riding her bike.  This Spring she took off her training wheels (after hesitation last year) and has loved it!  So long scooter!  She loves the freedom of playing in our neighborhood with her friends.  She has a big heart for her friends!  She loves to "PLAY"!  Anything with friends is the best time for her.  It's definitely nice to be so entertained right here at home without going anywhere with so many kids on our street.  She loves to play school and house with them.  And all her dreams come true with a mention of a sleepover!  She is still my little crafter.  Always drawing, creating little works of art out of whatever she can find laying around.  And she loves a sweet journal to write and doodle in.  She definitely prefers doing this more than working on her sight words for school or reading books! ;)  But at the same time she is very bright and loves SCHOOL!  Especially Math and Gym...she tells me.  :)  She is ready to start First Grade although she says she may have a little bit of butterflies that first day.  I love her brave spirit that is pushed so often in new places and situations.  It's all about finding a buddy with her!  She loves anything "fashion".  Quite the fashion-ista!  Loves dressing her barbies, american girl doll, and designing fashion girl art projects.  And she definitely has her mind made up about what she wants to wear!  Which doesn't always line up with what I have in mind!  Just think neon and peace signs...oh dear!  I didn't think this would start at 6!  Growing up too fast!  This has been the year of the loom bands.  She loves making bracelets and I am so surprised at how content she will be working on her fishtails all by herself.  This was great entertainment during our road trip this summer.  She's always making bracelets for someone else.  She loves giving to others and creating things for friends and family.  Her favorite sport this year was soccer.  This made momma happy. :)  Had a blast with her team this past spring and with her Daddy coaching.  She wants to get more into tennis and maybe piano this year?  We'll see how much we can juggle!  And she loves her Daisy troop!  She loved going to a horse farm and baseball game with them this year and her first experience selling cookies.  Not sure how much of an entrepreneur she will be in the future. ;)   She'd much rather be playing than knocking on doors selling cookies in the cold!  My funny girl loves to laugh and be silly...she calls it being "delirious".  She loves to sing and perform shows for us.  Especially the popular Frozen.  I am lucky to get a "ticket" to her performances. :)  She loves dance parties with her daddy.   She is dying to get a dog!  She loves, loves animals.  We are actually on the shopping for a fish!  Starting small. :)  And is very excited to meet her new baby sister or brother.  We love her sweet, kind spirit and her smile and stories that brighten our day!
