Chautauqua Bliss 2014

It was another great year at Chuatauqua Lake this summer.   Lots of freedom for the kiddos, bike riding, crisp air, ice cream, concerts, fountains, tennis playing, great family time, and a refreshing lake...made for a super week.
They had lots of children's school enthusiasm again this year.  We are still singing the theme song around here.
Mason's first year.  Langley was in Group 1.
Langley got her first taste of Girls Club in the afternoon.  She met a new friend Mia.  They had a great week!
The classic water olympics...i remember this same event as a kid going to club.  They still go after a greasy watermelon.
Mason came to watch the action.
They are off!  I think Langley was more worried about what friend was swimming near her than getting to the watermelon.
Glad I got to come see you at club Langley!
She also had a bicycle safety day, so we went and took a peak at that too.
Mason LOVED the lake this year!  We were there just about everyday.
He met a new friend Max that we saw often.  Busy in the sand and the water was the perfect calm and not too deep for him.  So relaxing!
Langley liked to meet us after she was done with club.  Busy days we had!
All ready for 4th of July at camp.  This is the kid spot for a yearly photo.  Their pet pals are behind them peaking in. :)
sillies...
17 Ramble!  I think my brother stopped us for a picture...rare moment.  He was quite the photo artist this summer!
Daddy and Uncle Todd had made it to visit for the weekend.  The kids decided to walk to children's school with them that morning.
Langley showed Greg her fun classroom.
 Mason too...
Let the parade fun begin!  Here they come.
Very festive and SMILING!!  Way to go Langley!
Mason was a star in his first children's school parade!  Way to go buddy!
 Hi mom!
They all made there way to the colonnade for some 4th of July singing.   Yankee Doodle and Our flag is Red, White, Blue were a couple of their favorites.
Mason was probably a little jealous of Grandpa's shirt.  :)
We had our annual picnic in Bestor with the Community Band.
Compliments of photography todd.  ;)  love the flag in the center.  great pic!
Mason and his red white and blue spider web.
Awaiting some fireworks that night under the pretty skies!
Such a festive 4th this year...our great U S of A.
Mason was off on his glider this year.  Thank goodness I brought the kids bikes!
Loved riding over thunder bridge.
Love this, another Todd phone pic...my gal catching a ray of sunshine in Bestor.   Daddy and Mason are back there playing too.
Beautiful day on the lake down by Boys and Girls Club.
 The Amp.
Dad the PRO playing his probably third round of tennis for the day.  :)  He was doing two a days all week with the guys at the Tennis Club.  Way to go Grandpa!
And here I am pregger's playing for the first time in a year stinking up the court.  :)
Ice Cream piggies...
Checking out their hidden fairy gardens by the Amp.  Never knew what the fairies might have been up to that day
Stimulating our minds with some morning lecture time.  The topic was feeding the hungry in America with National Geographic.
Enjoyed some peaceful walks around the lake while the kids were both at camp.  Thought about how I'd be strolling a baby next year!
Mason had some time with Uncle Todd at the Boys and Girls Club creek catching crawfish.  You got to go for the flat rocks.  I'm sure he got to stop at the YAC for a popsicle.
And our favorite great Auntie Kathy who puts up with us for a week!  Its definitely fun all being together.
Love all our Chautauqua memories.  Ready for next year already!
