Easter Fun 2014

Easter was a busy time with lots of fun times with the kids.  There was no shortage of Easter Egg hunts around Papillion!  There were only so many we could fit in over her.  Mason started it off with our hunt with our Mops group.  We were glad to have a nice day after a long winter!
With some of our buddies.  Sweet kids!  This has been a great group for us since we moved here.
We also headed out for our neighborhood hunt at Langley's school.
Heading back from his age hunt.  More candy!
The Easter bunny was there too.
Mason with his buddies Wesley and Bradley.  Little matching studs!
We stayed busy with lots of Easter crafts that both our Grandma's sent to us.  Thank you!
Mason helped me with some Easter nests one day.  He is turning into a big helper in the kitchen these days!
Did a little decorating.  Got out our Easter tree...and more cheesy Easter decor the kids like to devil in every year.  Brings them lots of joy!
A school morning Easter breakfast with bunny cinnamon rolls.  They were easy enough for me!
Somewhere along the way we had Grandma Susan and Grandpa Don arrive to visit us for a week!  We didn't waste too much time before we decided to decorate eggs.  They had been waiting for this!
There was some serious concentrating going on!  We panicked initially when we saw all my brown eggs, but turned out they dyed pretty well.  I didn't even think about buying white eggs for dying!
 thinking hard...
Now that's a lot of crayon on an egg Mason!
 Langley with her beautiful eggs!
Sharing an egg moment with Grandma.  :)  Love this picture!
 Ta-Da...our "new creations"!
Easter morning is here!  He is Risen!  The kids loved looking for the baskets and seeing everything the Easter bunny brought them.

Mason loved his new Ninja Turtle game (recently into Ninja's around here!)

Langley finally found her basket hiding in the study.

She was very excited about her new journal.

and clock for her room.  Lots of smiles and excitement over the goodies.

I think they both loved their animals from Grandma the best.  We took 'Cancun' with us everywhere for about 2 weeks.

All ready for church!  Langley finally got over her Easter shoes, to smile for the picture. ;)  It is reality over here!

And sadly we had to pull out the Easter lily to have some sort of bloom in our picture. :) Definitely miss the Azalea's and red buds at Easter time!  Takes us a few more weeks before we see that.

Easter 2014 with G&G!

Our familia!

Evening chats on the porch!
We pulled together a casual Easter dinner.   Thanks to my mom for helping!
Amazing love that Jesus died for us!
So thankful for the much-needed Grace He gives to me every day!
So glad to share Easter with you all!
